Depression
Hi everybody … today am goona talk about two topics, the depression disease and the epidermis.
Depression, I’m sure everybody knows it but for those who don’t know this is an ideal opportunity to have at least an idea about this common disease. In fact, this disease is affecting 121 million people word wild. Depression is a mental disorder, characterized by sadness, loss of interest or pleasure, feeling of guilt or low self-worth, disturbed sleep or appetite, low energy and poor concentration.
Actually, these problems can become chronic or recurrent, substantially impairing an individual’s ability to cope with daily life. At its most severe, depression can lead to suicide. Most cases of depression can be treated with medications like antidepressed medication or psychotherapy which tried mainly to give the depressed person confident and tried to show him or her that the life still has happy doors as well as the sadness.
What about the last research…
A recent research shows that the people being medicated for depression are way more than the amount of people who are actual depressed.
Another study indicates that women who are severely depressed during pregnancy have twice the risk of their babies coming early.
Epidermis
Now the second topic has to do with the skin, it is the epidermis.
Anyway, the epidermis is a medical term means the outer layer of the skin and can bee seen roughly by the naked eye.
In fact, the epidermis under the electronic microscope consists of four layers.
The outer one is stratum corneum
stratum granulosum
stratum spinosum
stratum germinativum
As well as that, the epidermis has the clear cells which look different to the others for instance, melanocytes, langerhans and finally merkel cells.
Thanks again.
